Rakesh Asthana: China And Pakistan Are Planning Against Us

Rakesh Asthana, the Director-General of Border Security Force (BSF) on his last day made a visit in Line of Control (LoC). The DG was on a three-day visit to the Jammu region. On his last day, he visited LoC in Rajouri and Poonch sector.
He urges the first line of defence on the border to be wary as both China and Pakistan are planning against India. The Army has operational command of the 744 km long LoC. However, the deploying of BSF was also done in order to assist the Army.

According to an official spokesperson, Rakesh Asthana on September 6 visited the various forward defence locations in Rajouri and Poonch sector. As the Director-General of the Border Security Force, he took stock of the situation. Asthana was accompanied by SS Panwar, ADG (WC), and IG BSF of Jammu Frontier, NS Jamwal.
The briefing was done by ID Singh, DIG Rajouri, and field commanders on the LoC. The briefing was on the operational preparedness and situation.

The DG emphasized meeting security challenges more effectively. He also appreciated the measures adopted by the troops while maintaining domination. He also admires the cooperation among all the security forces. He urged all ranks to maintain a high standard of discipline and professionalism. He was also appreciative of the vigilant BSF jawans. The BSF jawans are guarding India’s border defying all hostile conditions.
Asthana also addressed Sainik Sammelan in the BSF Paloura Camp Jammu. He stated; “Since Pakistan and China are planning against India, the role of BSF is now more important in guarding the borders.”

This is a very crucial time for India as both the neighboring countries are planning against the country. The role of BSF is now very important as they are the first line of Indian defence.
