Revised Guidelines For International Arrivals By Ministry Of Health

News Desk: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued Revised Guidelines for International Arrivals. The revised guidelines are in supersession of the Guidelines issued May 24. They will be operational from midnight on August 8.

 

Before Planning for Travel passengers must follow a few regulations:

 

Each passenger must submit a declaration along with the authenticity of the report. A passenger can be liable for criminal prosecution if found otherwise. The test report can be produced upon arrival at the entry point of the airport in India.

On arrival passenger should follow the following regulations:

 

 

If they test positive, they will be assessed clinically.

  1. If they are assessed as asymptomatic, pre-symptomatic, very mild cases, they will be allowed home isolation or isolated in the COVID-19 Care Centre.
  2. Those having mild, moderate, severe symptoms will be admitted to dedicated COVID Health facilities and managed accordingly.

If found negative, they will be advised to further isolate themselves. They can self-isolate at home and monitor their health for 7 days.

 

 

 

 

States can, however, develop their own protocol with regards to quarantine and isolation.
