NEET UG 2022: Aspirants submit Memorandum for Postponement to Education Ministry

There is a huge protest by the aspirants going across the country for the postponement of NEET UG examination, 2022. A 19-page memorandum has been submitted by students to the education ministry regarding schedule of the National Eligibilitty cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2022. Keeping the fate of students at stake, the latest media reports suggest that officials from the education ministry have held a meeting regarding the postponement of the NEET-UG 2022 exams. However, there is not any official declaration yet.

Aspirants took to Twitter demanding the postponement of NEET UG 2022 for at least 40 days citing several reasons including the clash of NEET exam schedule with CUET. The notification for the medical entrance was released on April 6 thus leaving the students just 3 months to prepare. The exam is scheduled for July 17. Aspirants also claimed that the CBSE board exams were concluded on June 15, leaving students only a month to prepare for the medical entrance exam.

NEET aspirants have expressed their discontent and stress through different posts on social media particularly Twitter. No official declaration has been given by NTA yet, which has further created stress among the students as only 8 days left before the commencement of the exam. Students started using hashtags, recently hashtag “JUSTICE for NEET UG” was trending on the platform.
