The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) cash-for-job scam, which wobbled the whole state, took a new turn of events.
A fresh plea has been submitted in a Special Judge’s court by Surjeet Singh Panesar, Superintendent of Police.
In his plea, Singh requested re-examination of the candidate’s answer book.
The Assam Police SP submitted his plea based on information received through forensic testing and other technology reports.
He presumes that the score of candidates in the answer sheets and in the tabulation sheets are likely to be anomalous.
He assumes that new faces of ACS and APS officials are likely to get arrested related to the Assam SI scam.
The special court has earlier allowed police to re-examine the answer sheets of APSC CEE (prelims) exam answer sheets again.
