A massive landslide took 3 lives in Arunachal Pradesh. 3 members of a family had been buried alive in a landslide that occurred in Sulung Taping village in Kurung Kumey district in Arunachal Pradesh.
A heavy and relentless rain triggered landslides in several places in kurung kumey district disrupted floor communication.
Two individuals escaped unharmed and least 15 homes have been destroyed The landslide resulted from a heavy downpour.
The deceased were recognized as Sariu Tongdang (50), his spouse Sariu Yajik (48), and their 8-years-old son Sariu Takar.
The district highway blocked due to the heavy landslide. The district head quarter ‘Koloriang’ has been disconnected also. Water and electrical energy had also been badly affected.
