Assam Rifles on Wednesday recovered a huge stash of narcotics from the Champhai district in Mizoram.
Based on an intelligence report, a joint operation was carried out by the Assam Rifles and assisted by the Excise & Narcotics Department, Mizoram.
The joint team was successful in recovering 1,30,000 tables of Methamphetamine whose market worth is approximately Rs. 6.50 crores. Along with the illicit recreational drugs, the joint team was successful in apprehending two drug peddlers.
