In the midst of the boiling tension along the Assam-Mizoram border, some miscreants on Friday night set off a bomb in a school in Cachar’s Upper Painom area bordering Mizoram. No causalities reported have been reported in the incident.
The blast took place at the Upper Painom Lower Primary School causing heavy damage to the school property.
Recently, the school was taken over by the Mizoram IR Battalion.
Meanwhile, the Mizo police are not allowing the headmaster from entering the school.
