Couple From Arunachal Donates Land For Model Village

A couple in Arunachal Pradesh donates 22,000 square meters of land for the establishment of a model village. This is a fine gesture of humanity by the couple.

The couple, Gibi Tato and Minli Tato donated their land which is located below the Border Roads Task Force (BRTF) Road. It is between Kerang and Keak villages near Aalo, in West Siang district. The model village will be named as Minli-Gibi village (MG village), after the generous couple.

The couple was giving all efforts for three years to turn the place into a model village. According to officials, the model village will have fine road connectivity, children park. Also, there will be a playground and nine dwelling houses.
Minli Tato also stated, “A drainage system, rearing of livestock, granary at a planned location, improved toilets and electrification are being worked out from various places.”
However, there are many things that still remain forgotten ever after many notifications.

The jungle land which belongs to the couple will become a prayer center. It will also mitigate the forest material needs of the people. The inauguration of the model village will be at an appropriate time. The inauguration will only happen after fulfilling all the basic needs.

The Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu also appreciated the couple in his tweet. The couple along with the village committee on September 23, observed the 3rd foundation day of the village. It was a part of the ‘Seva Saptah” along with a wide range of programs.
District Food and Civil Supply Officer, Rebom Nguso Lendo, and Gijum Tali, the Information and Public Relations Officer were also present during the program. During the program, about nine students were given notebooks, pens, and pencils. They were also given a bicycle each so they can go to school.
