In a gesture of goodwill, Dimapur Police gifted Delhi Police with 40 bamboo barricades for traffic management in the national capital.
The police usually use barricades of plastic or metal across the country and with a view to boosting the Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign and Bamboo products, Dimapur Police have come up with this ‘out of the box’ idea.
T. Henthai Phom, ACP Traffic Zone II, Dimapur, is the man behind the unique idea. The ACP not only implemented the idea but also designed the barricade.
Dimapur Police revealed the news in a tweet.
