Assam Rifles on Tuesday impounded a huge amount of narcotics in Moreh district in Manipur.
Based on an information, Assam Rifles troops conducted a raid along with Manipur Police and were successful in recovering a huge consignment of Brown Sugar and WIY Tablets and also apprehendes a drug peddler. The operation was carried out on Tuesday noon.
The estimated market value of the recovered narcotics is over Rs. 3.2 crores.
Taking to Twitter, the security forces informed, “Intelligence based joint operation by #AssamRifles troops and Manipur Police on 17 Nov resulted in recovery of Brown Sugar and WIY tablets (worth approx Rs 3.2 Cr) and apprehension of a drug peddler from Moreh district in Manipur.”
