Security forces along with the police in a joint operation on Sunday busted a hideout of terrorists and seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition.
The bust was done near N Bolijang village in the Kangpokpi district of Manipur. The troops were successful in recovering a 9 mm Pistol, a country-made revolver, an M16 Rifle, and 60 live ammunition.
The joint operation of police and security forces was done based on specific inputs. The seized weapons and ammunition were handed over to New Keithelmanbi Police Station for further investigations.
