The Meghalaya Government on Monday announced that tourists from outside the state will not be allowed from April 23. However, local tourism will continue within the state with the places having high tourist footfall remaining closed.
Meanwhile, the time frame of RT-PCR tests has been reduced from 72 to 48 hours.
The announcement was made by Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Twitter.
