National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) N Binoy Meetei was found dead at a base camp in the hills near the Dzukou Valley on Tuesday morning in Manipur.
ASI Binoy was deployed at the Dzukou valley for the ongoing firefighting operation.
Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh took to Twitter condoling the family and friends of the deceased.

The deceased was a resident of Luwangshangbam Maning Leikai, East Imphal district, Manipur. The cause of death is not yet known and his body was sent to Imphal for further procedure.
The Manipur CM on Wednesday also visited the family of the deceased NDRF ASI.
