Rito Riba, an Arunachal singer-songwriter, released a new music video for his song ‘Heer Ranjha’ on Tuesday.
In just 24 hours, the video, which stars Shivangi Joshi, Rohit Khandelwal, Rajat Nagpal, and Anshul Garg, has received over 2 million views. Riba made headlines after being ousted from the competition.
The reality show Indian Idol is at the Top 15 phase.
Following his elimination, Rito Riba’s followers urged that he be restored on the reality show and even began a petition on change.org.
With the new popular song video, he has demonstrated once again that pure talent does not require a reality show to prove.
