The Ministry of Tourism has sanctioned Rs 37.80 Cr for the development of Mata Tripura Sundari temple in Udaipur in Gomati district of South Tripura.

The tourism ministry had introduced the PRASAD scheme to develop different pilgrimage destinations in India in a planned and prioritized manner to promote religious tourism.
