An offsite Level-III mock drill was conducted at Secondary Tank Farm (STF), Madhuban, by Oil India Limited (OIL) on Thursday at its Duliajan Field. Headquarters to assess the preparedness of emergency response in the event of a disaster. Different departments from the organization participated. In this drill, a fire erupted in a crude oil tank at the STF post-earthquake, causing damage to the building and injuries to personnel. Security and fire procedures were set up at the highest alert, and emergency response procedures were triggered immediately. OIL and mutual-aid partners successfully managed the fire disaster. Rescue & relief operations were carried out in conjunction with NDRF, CISF & the OIL medical team. The drill concluded with a formal debriefing session to discuss best practices and insights learned during the drill.
