Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the national emblem Ashok Stambh built on the roof of the new Parliament House. The national symbol weighs 9500 kg, is made entirely of bronze and is 6.5 metres tall.
It has been installed at the top of the Central Forum of the new Parliament House. A steel support structure weighing around 6500 kg has been built to support the symbol.
