The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) to declare class X results as per the evaluation module prepared by the expert committee.
Speaking to the media, SEBA official clarified, “Those who were involved in the scam were already removed or transferred from the process and we are almost done with the marking process. SEBA will declare the results by July 31.”
Meanwhile, Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu has ordered education department secretary Dhrubajoyoi Das to set up a probe in the entire matter and submit a detailed report within 15 days.
The minister said, “There was a rumour that the suspected inspector of schools identified as one Madhab Deka did not face action. We have transferred him to head office so that he can be examined properly.”
