On Thursday, Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President and MP, Ripun Bora rode a bicycle to the Parliament as a protest against the rising price of fuel.
Ripun Bora said, “We have been demanding a discussion in the Parliament on the hike in prices of all essential commodities. Being an MP, if we are not allowed a discussion in the Parliament, then, where will we raise such issues.”
“Several protests were taken out in ASSAM against the exorbitant #PetrolDieselPriceHike. But it was now time to make the deaf ears hear, by bringing the protest to the mainland. I rode a bicycle to the parliament from my residence to protest against the sky-high price rise!” tweeted Bora.
