RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav was admitted to premier hospital AIIMS in Delhi on Wednesday night after being airlifted from a hospital in Patna. He underwent initial treatment for multiple illnesses.
The 74-year-old former Bihar Chief Minister was accompanied by a team of doctors and his eldest daughter Mischa Bharti, a Rajya Sabha MP. He was also accompanied by his wife Rabri Devi and his younger son Tejashwi Yadav to Delhi. Lalu Prasad was admitted to AIIMS around 9.35 pm.
Tejashwi Yadav had earlier told the media that the RJD president had broken bones in three places, including his shoulder, after falling into the house. Later, he could not move much due to increased complications.
