Two rockets were fired near the US Embassy in Baghdad on Thursday.
There are no reports of any casualties or damage to Baghdad’s fortified Green Zone which houses the US embassy. The attack came as Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhemi was flying home from Washington. The Prime Minister recently had talks in the White House with President Joe Biden.

In the meeting, the US President announced an end to US combat operations in Iraq.
