A shocking incident went viral on social media that has taken viewers attention and visuals of which are making rounds of internet and evoking some hilarious responses on Twitter. An incident was caught on camera where some unidentified thieves used a JCB to rip out an entire ATM. The incident took place at Miraj in Sangi district in Maharashtra.
It was an Axis bank ATM that was ripped out by the thieves. The video show a man entering the ATM and leaving without staying for more than a couple of seconds. Out of nowhere, a JCB smashes the glass door of the ATM. The person driving the somehow manages to use the excavator’s claw to scoop out the entire machine and steal it.
According to reports, the excavator was a stolen vehicle as well. The excavator was stolen from a petrol pump and was later driven to the ATM.
Inspector Chandrakant Bedr stated that the JCB and the ATM machine were later recovered. The ATM had Rs. 27 lakhs.
A case has already been filed and further investigation is underway.
