In a major administrative reshuffle in Assam, four Additional Police Chiefs have been transferred to the post of Special Police Chief’.
The list of officials transferred are:
• Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and Director of Fire & Emergency Services Y.K. Gautam (IPS) has been re-designated as Special Director General of Police in the same post.
• ADGP (Law & Order) G.P. Singh (IPS) has been re-designated as Special Director General of Police. He has been re-designated at the same department.
• ADGP (TAP) L.R. Bishnoi (IPS) has been re-designated as the Special Director of Police at the same department.
• ADGP (Communications) S.N. Singh (IPS) has been re-designated as Special General of Police at the same department.
