Thowra MLA Sushanta Borgohain will join the Bharatiya Janata Party on August 2. He will join the saffron party at its headquarters in Hengerabari in Guwahati.
According to sources from the party said, “Sushanta Borgohain will come to Guwahati on July 30 and will sit in a meeting with the party leaders here before joining the party on August 2. Borgohain will be the second MLA from the Congress party to join the BJP after it came to power in Assam for the second time.
It is believed that Borgohain has already set the deal with the BJP. We have tried to contact him but he was not available. Watch this space for further updates.
