Keeping their commitments United Liberation Front of Assam Independent (ULFA-I) has released the abducted Quippo Oil and Gas Infrastructure Limited employee Ram Kumar in the wee hours of Monday after almost four months.
Ram Kumar was released at the Nagaland-Myanmar border. His colleague Pranab Kumar Gogoi was also released on Saturday.
The 35-year-old Ram Kumar is a resident of Bihar and worked as a radio operator in Quippo. As per reports, Ram Kumar is in the safe custody of Assam Rifles.
After all the official formalities, he will be brought to Assam by today evening.
Both the employees were kidnapped from the Quippo rig on December 21 and were kept hostage.
