In a major turn of events, it has been reported that the United Liberation Front of Asom- Independent (ULFA-I) has released the two abducted employees of oil drilling company Quippo.
As per sources, ULFA-I released Pranab Kumar Gogoi and Ram Kumar, the abducted staffers of the private oil firm.
Pranab Kumar Gogoi, drilling superintendent, and Ram Kumar, a radio operator with the oil company were abducted on December 21.
They were abducted from the company’s Kumchaikha hydrocarbon drilling site in Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district.
Drilling Superintendent Pranab Gogoi hails from Sivasagar district, Assam while Ram Kumar is from Bihar.
