‘Unmelodious’, Jayanta Malla slams Bhupen Borah over his song

Politicians love to continue their political mockery of one another through various mediums. Sometimes with words, sometimes through social media, and sometimes through poetry and songs. After criticizing the Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma through a poem, this time Bhupen Borah has come up with a new medium to mock the CM of the state. This time the President of the State Congress Committee, Bhupen Borah wrote a song to criticize the CM Sarma. Evidently, this act of criticism has started another cold war with the ruling party, BJP.
BJP MLA, Jayanta Malla Baruah reacted to the song sang by Bhupen Borah on Tuesday. Jayanta claims- “Unable to be a poet, this time Bhupen Borah has written a song. No one will listen to his unmelodious songs. Bhupen has lost three times in the elections.” Jayant Malla Baruah didn’t calm down there. He addressed Bhupen Borah and said, “Borah was associated with Chanda culture while studying at Dibrugarh University.”

After Jayant Malla Barua, another BJP MLA, Diganth Kalita also reacted and said, “The Chief Minister will answer Bhupen Borah’s song before May 10. The Chief Minister will answer with one lakh appointments. Not even a single mark can be given to Bhupen Borah’s songs.’
Many of Congress party members are seeking opportunity to come over to BJP, he added.
