In a major turn of events, United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) has decided to release the two kidnapped oil employees.
This decision was taken after a talk held between Quippo company and ULFA (I).
However, Paresh Baruah, the ULFA (I) Chief had given conditions to the Oil company.
“We will release the employees if they appoint 5,000 qualified engineers from Assam.” Paresh Baruah stated.
The two Quippo employee, drilling Superintendent Pranab Kumar Gogoi and radio operator Ram Kumar were abducted by ULFA (I) on December 21 from Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district.
