Guwahati: Every year World Photography Day is celebrated on 19th August all over the world. Assam photojournalist association has initiated to celebrate World Photo Day this year. Association President Chinmay Roy and General Secretary Reba Kumar Bora stated that the programme will be held at Guwahati Press club at 11 the morning in the auditorium.
This year’s theme for World Photography Day will be dedicated in the name of eminent photojournalist Danis Siddique who died in a Taliban attack in Afghanistan. Senior journalist Sushant Talukdar is said to deliver a special lecture on Danis Siddique on the program.
Senior photojournalist Rajiv Bhattacharya will be felicitated by the Assam Photo journalist Association.
