The expert committees constituted by the Assam Education Department for Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) and Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) are still to come out with the final conclusion over recommending the evaluation formula.
The expert committees headed by Alok Buragohain, former vice-chancellor Dibrugarh University (DU), and Dipak Kumar Sarma, vice-chancellor of Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies University said they will hold two more meetings with SEBA and AHSEC before coming to the final conclusion.
The expert committees had their first meeting with the AHSEC here in Guwahati on Tuesday informed the media, “the marking system for each stream shall vary, as the components, syllabus for each and every subject differs from each other,” Adding more said, “the schools shall have to adopt to evaluate their students and this is will completely be based on their performances in the school evaluations, assignments, presentations, etc.”
Besides that, AHSEC and SEBA will prepare the final result after incorporating the marks of internal assessment, practical examination, and marks against theory portion as received from the respective schools within July 30, 2021.
Today, the committee is again scheduled to hold its second meeting with the SEBA. This year more than 7 lakhs students were supposed to sit for HSLC, HS, and high Madrassa examination.
