Lovlina Borgohain’s coach Sandhya Gurung receives accreditation to enter CWG village
Sandhya Gurung, the coach of Olympic boxer Lovlina Borgohain, received accreditation for the Commonwealth Games 2022 on Tuesday.
Coach Sandhya Gurung told ANI, “I have received accreditation for the Commonwealth Games 2022.”
Lovlina took to Twitter to complain about being mentally harassed because her coaches, including Sandhya Gurung, were not present at the Commonwealth Village.
Sandhya had complained on Monday about not being able to enter the Commonwealth Games Village because she did not have an accreditation card.
“Our planning is going well. Four female boxers are competing in the Commonwealth Games. I believe we will take home four gold medals “According to Lovlina.
“We don’t pay attention to any of this; our entire focus is on coaching the players so that their performance is good and they are properly trained. Players want to train with the same people they trained with before the event. Good practise has been going on since we arrived for the Commonwealth. There is only one issue: the accreditation card. As a result, I am unable to go inside. We’re working hard to obtain the accreditation card as soon as possible “said the coach.
Lovlina stated that she was subjected to harassment as a result of her coach’s inability to enter the CWG village. “Today, with great sadness, I must confess that I am subjected to a great deal of harassment. The coaches who helped me win an Olympic medal are being fired on a regular basis, affecting my training and competition preparation. Sandhya Gurungji, a Dronacharya awardee, is one of the coaches.
