Wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya has become the second Indian individual Silver medalist in Tokyo 2020 after losing to Uguev Zaur of the Russian Olympic Committee by 4-7 in the Men’s 57 kg Freestyle final. Thereby, he has become the fifth Indian medallist in Tokyo 2020.
India’s Ravi Kumar Dahiya had defeated Kazakhistan’s Nurislam Sanayev in 57kg semifinal at the Tokyo Olympics match on Wednesday to book a place in the gold medal match. It was a big comeback win for the Indian wrestler, who was trailing 2-9 at one point, but then went on to win five points on the trot to close the gap.
