Tech giant Microsoft messaging application MS Teams was down for several users’ early morning today. The company is investigating the situation.
According to Microsoft, the disruption may be ‘due to a recent deployment that targeted a broken connection to an internal storage service. Microsoft however, didn’t disclose the number of users affected by the disruption.
MS Teams is one of the widely used messaging app and also a crucial part of regular operations for several businesses and corporations. Workers use Microsoft Teams to communicate among the work groups, make calls and also schedule and organize tasks.
Several users across the globe also reported issues with Microsoft Teams on Wednesday. Downdetector.com, a website report tracker platform, stated that there were also more than 150 incidents of users who reported issues with Microsoft Office 365.
Microsoft shared a tweet stating that the disruption has impacted multiple Microsoft 365 services that collaborate with Teams, like Microsoft Word, Office and SharePoint.
