“Nothing phone (1)” controversy: One Plus co- founder’s new venture in controversy-Twitter trends with #BoycottNothing

The co-founder of One Plus is getting a lot of attention for his new venture which is Nothing Phone (1). With the competitive market, Nothing has managed to grab the limelight for its extraordinary specifications. It was launched in India on July 12.

Nothing Phone (1) Controversy:

Before the launch of Nothing Phone (1), it was trending first in Twitter, but soon after the launch the trends that emerged are quite the opposite. Nothing Phone has been trending with hashtags such as #BoycottNothing and #DearNothing which are definitely not what the company has anticipated.

But these negative trends started pouring when a YouTuber named Prasad posted a video on his channel ‘Prasadtechintelugu’ claiming that Nothing Phone (1) has not been sent to him for review. He further added that the company denied him stating it will not provide Nothing Phone (1) to South Indians, which further infuriated Twitterati.

But no official announcement or comments have been made so far.

Nothing Phone (1) specifications:

is an Android phone that is bringing in some changes in how a phone is built. For one, it has been pushing a transparent back panel that lets one almost see inside the phone. In India, the Nothing phone (1) starts at Rs 32,999 going up all the way to Rs 38,999.
