Renowned star-couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are ready to take their romance into the next level. A good news has come to the Bollywood fans when the most awaited date has finally been announced. On Friday Alia’s uncle Robin Bhatt revealed the couple’s wedding date which is on April 14.
Alia and Ranbir have been dating for almost 4.5 years now. Ranbir and Alia started dating back in 2017, when they met on the sets of Brahmastra. They made their relationship official in May 2018. Alia Bhatt had a huge crush on Ranbir Kapoor since she was a kid, And she’s herself admitted that over and over again. Alia was hust 12 when she first met Ranbir while he was assisting filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In fact, Alia went on to publically confess her love for Ranbir Kapoor at the promotional event of her first film, Student Of The Year. At the event, Alia revealed that she started loving Ranbir more after she watched his film Barfi. “RANBIR WILL ALWAYS BE MY BIGGEST CRUSH”, she once said.
While being asked about their wedding during the promotion of Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor’s’s last film Sharmaji Namkeen,he told the Film Companion, “I don’t know when I’m going to get married. We haven’t really decided on a date. But that’s definitely on the cards. We’ve not printed those cards yet, but it is on the cards!”
Wedding Date:
On Friday, paparazzi spotted Ranbir’ mother Neetu Kapoor and asked her about the wedding dates of the couple, but she replied to them by saying “bhagwan jane (god knows).”
Later the wedding date is announced by Alia’s uncle as 14th April, 2022. The wedding celebrations will take place between April 13 and April 17, 2022. The sangeet and Mehendi rituals are planned to occur during this period. Alia’s mehendi ceremony will take place on April 13. The couple will exchange wedding rings in Mumbai later this month with their friends and family members. After the wedding at Ranbir’s Mension on April 14, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will host a grand reception for their industry friends on 17th April.
Wedding Venue :
For those unaware, it was revealed last week that the pair are planning to marry the wedding in April this year at RK Meinsion (Ranbir’s Bandra home), VASTU, in Mumbai. The Kapoors and the Bhatts have already finalised the location and guest list. Ranbir and Alia will host a grand reception for their industry friends at Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai. The reception party will kick-start at 9 pm in the 5-star hotel’s Ballroom. A source close to Ranbir revealed that they have decided to host the reception at Taj Mahal Palace ‘mostly’ on April 17.
