The Batman 2022 is Released in Cinemas on 4th March. The multi- billionaire orphan who is also a vigilante, fights crime in Gotham City. His parents were killed in front of him when he was a kid. He inherited everything including Wayne Enterprise and started to find his parents’ murderer. He became a detective basically and decided to fight crimes in his city Gotham. He is a man who is a master of almost all form of Martial Arts – he is the Batman!
The very popular Batman Trilogy directed by Christopher Nolan starred Christian Bale as Batman. Another film “Justice League” starred Ben Affleck for the character of Batman which was directed by Zack Snyder.
The Batman 2022 is directed by Matt Reeves. The renowned actor Robert Pattinson who is well-known for the films of Twilight franchise is seen as Batman in this film.
Produced by DC Films the film is distributed by Warner Bros. The cinematography is done by Greig Fraser who is wellknown for films like Lion, Zero Dark Thirty, Dune. For his work on “Lion” and “Dune” he won American Society of Cinematographers Award as well as Dallas Fort Worth Film critics Association Award respectively.
Dan Lammon served as the visual effects supervisor, after previously collaborating with Reeves on the “Planet of the Apes” films.
Warner Bros. was planning to replace Affleck by July 2017. In August 2018, Affleck went to rehabilitation for alcohol abuse. Reeves entered to the direction of the film after a meeting with Warner Bros. in 2017. In August 2018, Reeves said the script is about to complete. In January 2019, Warner Bros. set a June 25, 2021 a release date for The Batman, and Affleck confirmed that he was no longer starring. When Reeves decided to focus writing on Batman he decided to bring a change in the Character of Batman. Ben Affleck‘s Batman had an action driven James Bondian approach while Reeve wanted to make it more personal narrative.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic the release of the film delayed twice before its final release which is 4th March, 2022.
