News Desk: A SP rank officer of Assam Police and 30 other personnel from different ranks have tested positve for COVID-19. They are all in good health now, according to an offiial source. The police personnel along with health workers, doctors and nurses have been on the forefront of Assam’s fight against novel corona virus.
A tweet from DGP GP Singh confirmed that a police officer of SP rank and 30 other officers of Assam Police have been tested Covid positive, through the tweet he wished for recovery of the officers.
With the new cases, Assam currently has 2,338 active cases.
