As part of the nationwide Programme on Swachhta Pakhawada from 1st July to 15th July 2023 in the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Zonal Office Guwahati is also conducting the Swachhata programme as per the prescribed schedule for the fortnight.
Field Operation Division (FOD) of National Sample Survey Office (NSSO), Zonal Office, Guwahati has conducted a day long programme on Swachhata including cleaning the area under Dispur flyover and spraying bleaching power, planting samplings in campus of Capital State Dispensary, Dispur.
Street Drama on negative affect of use of plastics and a procession with slogans of Swachchta and negative affect of plastic also held on 2nd July. Senior Officers of Zonal Office Jagat Hazarika, Director, Chetram Meena, Dy. Director, Swapan Kr. Roy and Debashis Dey, Assistant Director were also took active part in the Programme.
