Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi interacted with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra via video conferencing today. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister noted the remarkable enthusiasm being witnessed by the ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’ vehicle car in every village. Recalling his interaction with the beneficiaries a short while ago, the Prime Minister informed that more than 1.5 lakh beneficiaries have recorded their experiences during this journey. He further asserted that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has become a great medium to reach the people who have not been able to connect with the government schemes till now. While interacting with a tea stall owner Ms Mona, a transgender VBSY Beneficiary from Chandigarh, PM Modi gave the example of Railways’ decision to hand over the operation of all shops on a Assam Railway Station to the people of transgender society and that the business is booming.

Live screening of the programme was arranged at various locations of Assam.

Speaking on the occasion, the Shri Teli said that the VBSY ensured complete saturation of schemes to all beneficiaries who have not received the benefits of Government schemes. He urged the people to come forward and enroll themselves for getting the benefits of the government schemes.

In a bid to enhance citizen services, the VBSY programmes facilitated various community-centered initiatives, for fostering well-being among the masses. Among them were on-the-spot connections to the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana scheme, free health check-ups, Aadhaar card registration, registration on PM SVANidhi scheme etc. were conducted at these venues, ensuring easier access to the needy. Public representatives are attending the Yatra to encourage people to come forward and take benefits of the various government schemes.
