Sakra World Hospital, renowned as Bengaluru’s first healthcare facility with 100% Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), has expanded its reach by opening the SAKRA World Hospital Associate office in Nagaland. This significant development for the region stems from a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dentique, Heaven Delight building, of Nagaland. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of prominent dignitaries.
Nagaland, part of India’s Northeastern region, faces significant challenges due to inadequate healthcare infrastructure, especially in its remote and mountainous areas. To address these issues, Sakra World Hospital intends to start outreach OPD, Video consultations, and Second opinion clinics. The Team of two prominent doctors from Sakra World Hospital, Dr. Lorance Peter, Director of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, and Dr. Arjun Srivatsa, Director and Head of the Institute of Neurosciences, will visit the Nagaland Centre to attend to patients.
The collaboration between Sakra World Hospital and Nagaland ensures that patients receive comprehensive care through outreach OPD, Video consultations, and Second-opinion clinics. Those patients need surgical interventions will be allowed special packages for further treatment for the patients of Nagaland
