Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana will miss his team’s crucial World Cup match against Serbia on Monday after being dropped hours before the game at Al Janoub stadium.
According to a source, Inter Milan goalkeeper Onana was left out of the Group G match for unspecified disciplinary reasons and was replaced by Devis Epassy, who plays for Abha in Saudi Arabia.
26-year-old Onana, has 34 caps for his country and was present in Cameroon’s 1-0 loss to Switzerland last week.
He signed as a free agent with Serie A club Inter after not playing much for Ajax following his nine-month doping ban last year.
If Cameroon loses and Brazil avoids defeat against Switzerland later on Monday, it will be eliminated from the World Cup with one game to spare.
